About Pastor Daniel Amdemichael

Pastor Daniel Amdemichael’s journey began in Harar, Ethiopia, at the Full Gospel Believers' Church, where his passion for worship was first ignited. To align his calling with musical excellence, he earned a degree in Sacred Music at Canada Christian College in Toronto and completed his M.A. in Worship Study at Dallas Baptist University. Today, based in Dallas, Texas, Daniel serves as a pastor, songwriter, and worship leader alongside his wife, Shirshir (Shire), and their children.

To His Glory Ministry (THG)

Led by Pastor Daniel, To His Glory Ministry is dedicated to international evangelism and raising the next generation of worshipers. We believe music is a universal language and a vital tool for sharing the transformative power of the Gospel—connecting hearts to the love, redemption, and grace of Jesus Christ.

We view ourselves not merely as performers, but as messengers called to break down barriers, offer hope to the broken-hearted, and point people to a personal relationship with God.

The Journey of Faith

  • Early Life: Born and raised in Harar, Ethiopia, Daniel’s musical journey began in the Full Gospel Believers’ Church. He was a key member of the Harar Mulu Wongel Choir, where his unique voice first began to impact the Ethiopian gospel scene.

  • The Global Minister: For over two decades, he has traveled across the globe, ministering to the Ethiopian diaspora in the US, Europe, and Canada. In 2018, his ministry reached a new milestone when he was ordained as a Pastor, formalizing his role as a spiritual leader.

  • Academic Excellence: To deepen his ministry, Daniel studied Sacred Music at Canada Christian College in Toronto and M.A. in Worship Study at Dallas Baptist University in Dallas , ensuring his worship leadership is grounded in both musical skill and biblical soundness.

  • Current Service: He currently serves as the Music Director and as a Pastor at the Ethiopian Evangelical Believers Church in Dallas, Texas, where he lives with his wife and two children.
